How long does it take for plastic bags, cardboard, glass, diapers or cigarettes to fully decompose if they made their way into the sea? Take a look at the visual below and see how some items, if placed in the trash, can take up to 4000 years or longer to decompose in the sea. Did you know some plastics, like bottled water, never decompose? Let’s be good stewards by recycling!
