Waiting for Easter…

By April 8, 2019Children, Learn, News

Wait” is such a hard word for us to process. No one wants to wait even when you know waiting can bring good news. Such was the case long ago when Jesus was hung on a cross. The people were waiting to see what was going to happen next.

“WAIT” is the FaithTrek word for April. We are waiting for Lent to end, waiting to greet Jesus on Palm Sunday and waiting to see if the tomb is empty. Maybe Easter is worth waiting for!

During yesterday’s learning hour, our FaithTrek students did a skit, using puppets, about how hard it is to be patient and “wait!”

Are you patiently waiting for Easter?
