Tuesday’s Faith Thought…How You Climb a Mountain

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” ~ Matthew 6:34

Hiking in the mountains is no easy task – even for the young. More than one young person has found themselves on the ground, moving one step at a time. That’s how you climb a mountain.

What are your mountains? Losing weight? Training for a new job? Bringing healing to a broken relationship? The mountain feels so high that you almost want to quit before you even start.

You will make it, but your focus must be on the step right in front of you. That’s what you need to worry about and nothing else. After that step, a new step will follow. Slow and steady. One step at a time.

That’s how you climb a mountain.
