“Swingin, Singin and Springin” at First Friday Jazz

By March 30, 2019March 31st, 2019Uncategorized

Friday, April 5; 11:30 am-1:00 pm

Info: Lee Rockwell; lrockwell@windstream.net

Since Spring is just around the corner, the April 5 First Friday Jazz concert will feature a concert dedicated to “Swingin, Singin and Springin” with bassist, Andy Hall, and his group, The Ripplers. Although Andy is a Lincoln native, he’s not fond of our winters and looks forward to Spring and will honor it with this performance. The concert will include selections such as, I Got the Spring Fever Blues, Might as Well be Spring, Pick Yourself Up and I  Want to be Happy. Andy will be joined by John Scofield on drums, Scott Vicroy on tenor sax and Peter Bouffard on guitar.

The concert is free but donations of non-perishable food items for the Lutheran Food Pantry are encouraged. Don’t forget to bring a friend or two also! Lunch is available for purchase onsite or bring your own.

We expect another full house so come early and reserve your seat!
