Prayers and Giving for Nebraska Flood Victims

By March 15, 2019April 2nd, 2019News

Please keep the areas and ministries affected by this week’s floods, rain and blizzard in your prayers. We also keep in our prayers the local police, EMTs and fire departments as they put their own lives at risk to keep their local towns and residents safe.

Once the flood waters recede and individuals can assess the damage there will be needs and much to be done. If you are looking to support the future cleanup efforts, donations can always be made to the Nebraska Synod Disaster Fund. Please include “Nebraska Floods” in the memo line, so that the funding is available as more needs arise.

“O God of creation, eternal majesty, you preside over land and sea, sunshine and storm. By your strength pilot us, by your power preserve us, by your wisdom instruct us, and by your hand protect us, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.”
