God’s Work Our Hands Serve Projects Continue Into November

By October 24, 2017October 28th, 2017News, Serve, Special Events

Carol Joy Holling Camp near Ashland needs help finishing the brick deck at the new building at the Springs Camp and starting the demo of the old Springs dining hall. We would like to organize a crew to help! It could be a week day or Saturday project.

Lutheran Family Services is looking to First Lutheran to organize and inventory their storage unit. Donations for refugee resettlement are appreciated, but sometimes they get stuffed in the back of the storage unit and staff are not sure what they really have on hand for a family. A team of 4-5 people is needed. This would be a great family project (elementary and older youth). We can work around your schedule. The storage unit is near 48th & R Street.

We promised staff at the F Street Community Center we would have 7-8 people to help with cleaning and yard work. We will work out the time and date with our group’s schedule and the staff at the F Street Center.

All of these projects need to be completed sooner, rather than later, with winter soon approaching. Contact sunni@flclincoln.org if you are available to help with one or more of these serve projects. Thank you for being a disciple who serves!
