Donate to Lutheran Disaster Relief for Tornado Relief to Nashville

By March 7, 2020News, Serve

Following the powerful and destructive tornado that ripped through central Tennessee, at least 24 people have been killed, homes and other buildings have been destroyed, and thousands of people are without electricity. Given the extent of the destruction, recovery is expected to take years.

Fortunately, together, we can support those on the long road to recovery. Lutheran Disaster Response is working with organizations in the area to provide immediate relief and will accompany the Southeastern Synod ELCA and partners to address survivors’ needs over the long haul. All gifts to Lutheran Disaster Response designated for “U.S. tornadoes” will be use entirely (100%) to assist those affected by tornadoes until the response is complete. Please use this link (https://community.elca.org/ustornadorelief) to give today and help those whose lives have been impacted by this devastating tornado.
