If you have been driving past First Lutheran Church at 70th and A Street for the past 18 months and wondering what the construction going on was about, here’s a quick glimpse of what’s happened!
The purpose of our “Called to Welcome” Building Project was to help us live out our welcoming statement. The project renovated our kitchen, nursery and classrooms, worship space, outdoor space and restrooms – with the focus always being to make the spaces more accessible, safe and welcoming.
The last stage of the project was creating a new entrance and welcoming area, as well as renovating our Sanctuary. As you can see, it’s been transformed into a beautiful worship space…soon to be filled with songs of praise and thanksgiving!
