Accompanying Others Through Serving

By January 2, 2018Education, News, Serve

We have a God who journeys with us and calls us to do the same as we are in ministry with others in the world. When we intentionally include prayer and learning components in our serving we begin to see that what we do is grounded in who we are, how we relate and who we serve. The Accompaniment Model of Mission of the ELCA gives us helpful structures, approaches and lenses to be more aware in our serving relationships. All are invited to the Accompaniment Training on Monday, January 22, from 7:00-9:00 pm, where we will explore this model, share stories, reflect on where we are currently and in what areas we could continue growing. Please let Pastor Justin (pastorjustin@flclincoln.org) or Sunni Richardson (sunni@flclincoln.org) know by January 14 if you plan to attend.
