Learn More About Our Prison Ministry

You need a pass to get out and it can be denied at any moment. You get only 20 hours per month for religious purposes. If you get a job outside the Correctional Center, you have to pay rent. These are just a few of the rules one must deal with in the Nebraska Correctional system. Getting to come to worship at First Lutheran and hearing words of love and grace, being invited to the Table and treated as a real person is a big deal. Learn more about First Lutheran’s Prison Ministry program, systems, people and needs on Sunday, January 14, at Noon. Please RSVP to Sunni (sunni@flclincoln.org) by January 7 so food for lunch can be confirmed.

You can also support First Lutheran’s prison ministry by providing a breakfast main dish and/or fruit on a Sunday morning for the men attending worship as part of our prison ministry. Sign up online!
