In February of 2016, First Lutheran welcomed and sponsored a family who fled their home in Iraq to start a new life in Lincoln. Their family will grow in late October with the arrival of a baby boy! It’s an exciting time, yet scary. They do not have the family support they had in Iraq and were unable to bring any baby items with them. They are starting completely over with preparing for the baby. You can help by donating gift cards from Walmart and Target to purchase a car seat, stroller and so many basic baby items they will need. Please bring your gift cards to Cyndi in the office.
