First Snowfall on CROP Walk Day

Did you know there has never been snow reported on the day of the CROP Walk in Lincoln?

Snow did not stop our CROP Walkers from showing up and walking for those who are hungry on Sunday, October 14. Some walkers did laps inside the church, others went to the mall to walk, while the bravest went out into the wintery conditions to walk the designated 3 mile route. Thank you to Sandy Latshaw for spearheading the event, the volunteers who helped her, those who sponsored a walker and our dedicated and determined walkers.

(FYI…Shout out to the Heier family for signing up as a family for the CROP Walk to celebrate Harlan’s birthday and to Amanda Heier for designing this year’s tshirt! And, to the gentleman who came to walk his 45th CROP Walk!)
