Youth & Family

First Lutheran values children, youth and their families. We have many ways in which young people can learn, serve, and experience fellowship. There are also opportunities for families to gather with other families as one big First Lutheran family! No matter what shape or size your family is, there's a place for you here!

• Kids of the Kingdom
  This is a fellowship group for First's Kindergarteners - 2nd graders. The group meets every other month for an activity. A variety of activities are planned for these children. Some events are family events or parent-child events, while others are for children only. No matter what we do, we always have fun and make new friends!
  
  
• Spirit Kids
  This group for 3rd-5th graders meets every month. Friends are usually invited to these activities as well. Spirit Kids is a great way to build new friendships and strengthen old ones!
  
  
• Family Ministry Events
  Several times a year, First Lutheran families are invited to gather for learning, fellowship or service. These activities are a great way to connect your own family with other families in the church!
  
  
• FLYP (First Lutheran Young People)
  First Lutheran Young People (FLYP) is a youth group for middle school students. The group meets once a month for devotions along with fellowship, service projects, or both! Friends from outside of the church are always invited to FLYP events!
  
  
• Senior High Youth
  There are many opportunities for First's 9th-12th graders to engage in fellowship, learning, and service.
