Music Ministry
Music enriches worship with congregational song, choirs, ensembles and soloists. We encourage singing by the whole congregation and provide avenues for all ages to offer their musical talents. Choirs also have a supportive atmosphere with time for fellowship, prayers, and a few service projects. There is a place for you in the music ministry here. Some groups meet on a regular schedule and some are very short term commitments. Join an existing choir/ensemble or help create something new.

How can you serve God? Sing in a choir!
Cherub & Chorister Children's Choirs meet on Wednesdays from 5:00-5:45 (See vocal choirs column for more details.)
Adult Choir begins Wednesday, September 1, 7:30-8:30 (See vocal choirs column for more details.)
Celebration Singers will have very short practices on September 5 at 10:10 and another on September 12 at 11:45. They will sing the first time in this year on September 19 at the 10:45 instead of the usual first Sunday of the month. Watch for more information.

Vocal Choirs
Four of our vocal choirs rehearse regularly September - May. New members are welcome throughout the year!
Adult Choir
- Rehearses on Wednesdays, 7:30 - 8:30 beginning September 1
- Sings in worship on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th Sundays (Sept. - May) alternating between services - 8:15 in September, 10:45 in October, etc.

Johnsen
Cherub Choir (K-2nd Grades)
- Rehearses on Wednesdays from 5:00 - 5:45 beginning August 25
- Sings once a month in worship, usually 3rd Sunday (Sept. - May) alternating between services -10:45 in September, 8:15 in October Watch for a couple of changes to this pattern April and May 2011.

Chorister Choir (3rd - 6th Grades)
- Rehearses on Wednesdays from 5:00 - 5:45 beginning August 25
- Normally sings two times a month in worship on the 2nd & 4th Sundays (Sept. - May) alternating between services -10:45 in September, 8:15 in October, etc. A few changes will be needed in the 2010-2011 year.

Celebration Singers (7th - 12th Grades)
- Rehearses on the 1st Sunday of each month right after worship at 11:45, with a few extra Sundays as needed
- The teens usually sing on the 1st Sunday at the 10:45 - THIS YEAR IS AN UNUSUAL START. Due to a conflict with a retreat, the teens will sing on September 19 instead of October 3. There will be a beginning practice for anyone who can come on Sunday, September 5 at 10:10 in the lower level under the Activity Center. There will be another brief practice after late church on September 12. On the day the choir sings (Sep 19) there will be a rehearsal at 10:10.
