Women of the ELCA
Women of the ELCA are “a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ. And as women empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Women of the ELCA are committed to grow in faith, affirming their gifts, supporting each person in their calling, engaging in ministry and action, and promoting healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.”
At First Lutheran women have an opportunity to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ through circles, Bible study, service projects, Synodical gatherings and special events. All women are welcome! For more information about First Lutheran Circles contact the church office at 488-0919.

Spirit Led
Spirit Led is a newsletter/flier published once a month, in-house at First Lutheran. It is not an answer, nor is it a one-size-fits-all formula, prescription or shortcut to living a Spirit filled life. It is just a tool to help refocus attention on God. It includes devotional activities, prayers, quotes and often a list of resources. Spirit Led may serve as a stepping stone for you as you travel the road of life and seek to put God in the center of every thing you do and say.

Faith to Go! – is not a club, committee or task force but a gathering of early risers learning to go forth as faithful disciples. All are welcome anytime. |

Saturday with the Guys
Men of all ages are invited to gather the second Saturday of the month, 8:00-9:00 AM, at First Lutheran. Enjoy a light breakfast, cup of good coffee and join the discussion centered on a book or video clip. Saturday with the Guys is currently working their way through Tony Dungy’s book “Uncommon: Finding Your Path to Significance.” The book asks a not-so simple question, “What does it mean to be a man of significance in a culture that doesn't offer many positive role models?” Join the discussion reflecting on how Dungy takes lessons he's learned from his parents, career, mentors, and journey with God, and helps men move beyond material success to illuminate those ambitions, attitudes, and allegiances that make their lives truly meaningful. Contact Jim Kisling for details. |
