Lisa Staab, Director
Lisa Staab, Director of First Learning Center, has extensive training and experience in early childhood education and development. Lisa has a background in as a speech pathologist and has taken several master's level courses in early childhood education. She has a passion for making learning accessible for all children, for developing a partnership with parents, and for creating a love of learning in the hearts of our young learners.

Jennifer Bartels, Teacher
Jennifer Bartels is a teacher at First Learning Center and has over 10 years of experience working with young children. Jen has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in science. She is currently working on her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Concordia University. Jen and her husband James have three daughters, Hailey (14), Hannah (14), and Harmony (6). She enjoys being with and working with children and teaching them the knowledge and skills they will need to know for their future. Jen’s goal is to provide the children with enriching experiences that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.

Jane Reynoldson, Teacher
Jane Reynoldson has over 20 years of experience working with young children and an educational background in Early Childhood Development. Jane and her husband Chad live in Lincoln and have two daughters, Mikayla (8) and Ashley (6). Jane promotes the social, emotional and intellectual development of her students with hands on experiences. She looks forward to each day in the classroom and all the wonderful adventures of being a teacher at First Learning Center.

Heidi Widner, Director of Faith Formation and Family Ministries
Heidi Widner, Director of Faith Formation and Family Ministries at First Lutheran Church, serves as the Coordinator for First Learning Center. With a background in Marriage and Family Therapy, Heidi is passionate about connecting with and supporting parents and ensuring that First Learning Center provides the best possible environment for the growth and development of our students. She also enjoys interacting with students and leading an age appropriate Chapel Time. As a mom, she knows first hand the importance of helping little ones grow through exploration, discovery, education and socialization. Heidi is an excellent source for questions about children and faith. She can also help families get connected with MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), FaithTrek (First Lutheran's Sunday School Program), Vacation Bible School or any activities at First Lutheran Church.
