Newsletters
First Lutheran Church publishes and distributes third monthly newsletters. "The VOICE", published at the end of each month, shares major ministry happenings, prayer requests and celebrations, and the monthly calendar. The mid-month newsletter, "First Edition", is a brief update on the life of the church, sharing details about the congregational council meeting, budget information and progress on our strategic plan, Vision 2020.
Our third newsletter is Spirit Led is focused not on what's going on in the congregation but on what's going on in your life and your relationship with God and others around you. It is not an answer, nor is it a one-size-fits-all formula, prescription or shortcut to living a Spirit filled life. It is just a tool to help refocus attention on God the "other six days a week". It includes devotional activities, prayers, quotes and often a list of resources. Spirit Led may serve as a stepping stone for you as you travel the road of life and seek to put God in the center of every thing you do and say.
In addition to our print newsletters, First Lutheran Church also publishes a weekly e-newsletter, "First Things First". Sent out on Wednesday mornings each week, "First Things First", provides you with late breaking news, important calender reminders, and quick ministry updates.
