Faith and Spiritual Formation is a life-long process. In our Youth Ministries education plays a vital role in what we do. Our educational ministries we work on equipping disciples for today and for tomorrow. Sometimes the education comes in ways that may be more traditional, and many times the education, learning, and growing comes with hands on experiences, lively conversation, and a wide range of other opportunities.
Our educational opportunities for middle and high youth aim to help youth to learn not just facts, but to help them learn about where they fit into God's story and embrace who God made them to be. Whether it is in 6th Grade, where students explore other denominations to better understand their own faith, or at Confirmation Retreats as they delve into what it means to be a baptized child of God, or even in Sr. High Sunday School, where students talk about current events and other matters that are important to their everyday life from the perspective of a young Christian, our goal is to provide a safe environment for youth to learn about themselves, their faith, and the God that made us all. |
