Faith in Action
In many ways, everything we do as believers is a matter of “faith in action.” We use that phrase specifically, however, to speak of the ways in which our faith pushes us outside ourselves—individually and congregationally—to serve others for the sake of God. Our faith compels us to give ourselves, and to give of ourselves, to extend God’s compassion and presence to those in need both near and far. More than charity, our serving is a matter of partnering with God and with those we serve, to make life better for all.
