Sunday School Children December 21

The sweet sounds of childen's voices and orff instruments will be heard during 10:45 worship on Sunday, December 21. As we trace the story of God's saving acts, the children will lead us through prophecies and preparation for Christ's birth. This includes the Chorister Choir, Cherub Choir and all Sunday School children through grade 5.

Children should go to their classrooms at 9:30 am. Being on time will be very important. Parents should pick up their children as usual at 10:30 and sit with them during worship. During the passing of the peace children will go to the commons area to assemble for their portion of leading worship.

Don't miss this special celebration.

First Lutheran strives to offer children and families of all description the tools for learning, growing, and gathering together in the faith. From the moment of birth we grow in God's grace. At First Lutheran, children are happily at home in worship and in spaces prepared for them. Welcome to the world of kids!

Welcome to the world of children at First Lutheran. Children of all ages, including our littlest ones are at home throughout the church. Whether nestled in their parent's arms, crawling on the floor in the commons, worshipping in the sanctuary, playing safely in the nursery or participating in a Sunday School lesson, we are committed to partnering with families in nurturing the faith development of children. We love kids of all kinds at First Lutheran and are ready and waiting to partner with parents and adults of all generations in providing a child-centered, engaging and spirit filled Sunday morning education hour. We are aware that a few hours a week is not adequate for the making of faithful disciples so we will strive to share ways in weaving faith into the very fabric of family life.
